Dr. Vanessa Watts was born in Vancouver, Canada, and spent her childhood in Montreal before eventually settling in Delray Beach, Florida. Her academic journey led her to pursue a deep-seated passion for Molecular Biology at Florida Atlantic University, with a particular interest in marine biology. Driven by her dedication to the field, she furthered her education by earning her dental degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Continuing her professional development, Dr. V underwent rigorous training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nova Southeastern University. During this period, she immersed herself in various areas of expertise, including maxillofacial trauma, facial cosmetics, and TMJ surgery. Over the years, Dr. V has contributed significantly to the field, publishing several works on critical topics such as alveolar cleft grafting and post-traumatic facial reconstruction. Her expertise has been shared at various national meetings, reflecting her commitment to advancing the knowledge in her specialty.

Community outreach holds a special place in Dr. V's heart. She has led surgical missions to Nicaragua and Jamaica, in addition to organizing local events in Florida to benefit underserved communities and veterans. In the Tampa Bay area, Dr. V established a study club for aspiring dentists and currently serves as the director of oral surgery for the Florida Mission of Mercy program.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. V finds immense joy in connecting with her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for. While her passion lies in surgery, she also embraces a love for exploring new cultures, cuisines, and languages. Often found outdoors, she enjoys activities like paddle boarding and boating, or simply soaking up the sun at the beach.
